Reno 911: mannequin mayhem
INT. CLOTHING STORE - EVENING
The sun sets, casting an eerie glow inside the quiet clothing store. Deputy
Johnson, Deputy Garcia, and Sheriff Dangle respond to a call about a
disturbance involving Robert.
SHERIFF DANGLE
(adjusting his sunglasses)
Alright, people, keep your eyes peeled. We've got a mannequin maniac on the
loose.
DEPUTY JOHNSON
(raising an eyebrow)
Mannequin maniac? Seriously?
DEPUTY GARCIA
(smiling)
This should be interesting.
They approach Robert, who's hugging a mannequin wearing a glamorous gown.
SHERIFF DANGLE
(to Robert)
Sir, we received a complaint about your behavior. What's going on here?
ROBERT
(looking up)
Oh, officers, you've got it all wrong. These mannequins are my friends. They
understand me.
DEPUTY GARCIA
(chuckles)
Friends? Buddy, you might need to get out more.
Suddenly, the mannequins come to life, each mimicking actions related to their
clothing.
SHERIFF DANGLE
(eyes widening)
What in the name of polyester is happening?
DEPUTY JOHNSON
(panicking)
Sheriff, I think these mannequins just came to life!
DEPUTY GARCIA
(screaming)
They're moving! Oh my god, they're moving!
They scramble to the exit. Mannequins continue their bizarre activities,
oblivious to the chaos.
EXT. CLOTHING STORE - NIGHT
Sheriff and Robert burst out of the store, gasping for breath. They look back
at the animated mannequins.
SHERIFF DANGLE
(voice trembling)
I've seen some weird things in this town, but this...this takes the cake.
DEPUTY GARCIA
(trying to catch her breath)
I need a vacation, Sheriff.
ROBERT
(smiling)
Told you, officers, they're my friends.
As they recover, the mannequins inside the store continue their strange
escapade, creating a memory that will haunt the Reno Sheriff's Department for
years.
