McDonald's ponytail (true story)
David stood in line at McDonald's, eyeing the menu with a rumbling stomach. As he waited, a woman with a stunningly long brunette ponytail caught his attention. Mesmerized, he couldn't help but stare.
Feeling the weight of his gaze, the woman turned around, her expression stern. "Can I help you?" she asked, irritation evident.
Flustered, David quickly apologized, "I'm sorry; I didn't mean to stare. It's just that your ponytail is absolutely beautiful."
Her annoyance melted into surprise, and then a smile. "Really? Thank you! Most people just stare for the wrong reasons."
Relieved, David chuckled, "I'm glad I could appreciate it for what it is. It's truly remarkable."
They continued chatting, the conversation flowing easily between them. As they reached the counter to order, they found common interests and shared a few laughs. Before leaving, David gathered the courage to ask, "Would you mind if I got your number? Maybe we could grab coffee sometime?"
The woman, still smiling, agreed, and they exchanged numbers. Plans for a romantic date began to form, sparked by an unexpected encounter at a McDonald's queue.
