Hairdominia: Long Hair Dominance (sliders 90's scene one)

INT. ALTERNATE WORLD - HAIRDOMINIA - DAY

The vortex opens, and our group of sliders tumbles out onto the unfamiliar terrain of Hairdominia. A peculiar society stretches before them. Women, dressed in extravagant garments, stride confidently down the streets, their long, flowing head hair cascading like royal cloaks. Men, on the other hand, are meekly shorn bald and wear simple, drab clothing.

MAGGIE
(astonished)
Whoa, where in the multiverse are we now?

QUINN
(fascinated)
It's like a complete reversal of our world.

REMY
(cautious)
I hope they don't mind our hair.

As they explore, the group notices a group of women in authority gathered near a central plaza. One of them, HIGH QUEEN KATERINA, with hair that trails behind her like a majestic river, notices the newcomers and approaches.

HIGH QUEEN KATERINA
(grinning)
Welcome to Hairdominia, travelers! I'm High Queen Katerina. I see you have quite the... unique hairstyles.

WADE
(nervous)
We didn't realize hair was this important here.

HIGH QUEEN KATERINA
(humming thoughtfully)
Well, it is the source of our power, you see. Our head hair represents our status and strength. The longer the hair, the higher the rank.

ARTURO
(pondering)
And what about the men? Why are they bald?

HIGH QUEEN KATERINA
(with a smirk)
Ah, men are a different matter. They're not allowed to grow their hair. Their place in society is to serve and protect.

As she speaks, a group of male guards, heads shaven, march by, their expressions somber.

COLIN
(shocked)
This place is unlike any we've seen before.

HIGH QUEEN KATERINA
(sympathetic)
You seem like good people. I can sense your confusion. If you want to fit in here, you'll need to adjust your appearances.

The sliders exchange glances, torn between adapting to this strange world and staying true to themselves.

QUINN
(resolute)
We'll need some time to think about it, High Queen Katerina.

HIGH QUEEN KATERINA
(nods)
Take all the time you need. Just remember, in Hairdominia, hair is everything.

The sliders watch as the High Queen gracefully walks away, her hair trailing behind her. They huddle together, contemplating their next move in this hair-centric world, knowing that sliding might be their only way out.
